According to Hsu (2010): Cytotoxic effects of geranyl flavonoid derivatives from the fruit of Artocarpus communis in SK-Hep-1 human hepatocellular Carcinoma, Food Chem. According to Kingsley AI (2014): This study therefore evaluated the anti-inflammatory activity, as well as the antioxidant potential of an ethanol stem bark extract of A altilis. Per the findings, the ethanolic stem bark extract of AA exhibits anti-inflammatory & antioxidant activities & therefore gives credence to it use in folklore medicine. According to Juliastuti H (2017): Liver disease including hepatitis & hepatotoxicity require proper management so they may Heal faster. - Fever, malaria (Plasmodium), : Plant part used: Stem. According to ADEBAJO AC (2013): altilis stem bark were investigated for prophylactic, chemosuppressive and curative antiplasmodial activities using Plasmodium berghei b infected mice (Peters, 1967; Ryley & Peters, 1970). The standard drug chloroquine gave ED50, ED90 of 2.19 ± 0.10; 4.29 ± 0.1 and 2.16 ± 0.02; 4.14 ± 0.02 mg/kg for the chemo suppressive and the curative test respectively, while Pyrimethamine gave 0.45 ± 0.11 and 0.91 ± 0.11 mg/kg for the prophylactic test.
