  1. Bacterial infection : Plant part used: Sheet. Documented pharmacological profile: Gentamycine-like.
According to Baswa M (2001): indica) seed oil in vitro against Pseudomonas aeruginosa Bacillus circulans bacillus circulans Vibrio cholerae vibrio cholerae, Escherichia coli Escherichia coli Shigella dysenteriae shigella dysenteriae, Shigella flexneri shigella flexneri, Shigella boydii, Staphylococcus staphylococcus , Salmonella typhi salmonella typhi& Salmonella paratyphi salmonella paratyphi was assessed. The antibacterial activity of Karanj (P. According to OLUBUKOLA JO (2011): Methodology: Crude extracts of fresh leaves of Ocimum gratissimum, Psidium guajava, Vernonia amygdalina, Kigelia Africana, Azadirachta indica, Pistia stratiotes, Euphorbia hirta, bulb of Allium sativum & Zingiber officinale & Curcuma longa, were evaluated using the agar diffusion assay method & minimal inhibitory concentration (MIC) to determine the antibacterial activities against Vibrio Cholerae, Escherichia Coli & salmonella Sp.
  2. Fungal infection : Plant part used: Sheet. Documented pharmacological profile: Ofloxacine-like.
According to Kumar-Gupta A (2015): Bacillus bacteria & Rhizopus fungi & their comparison with standard ofloxacine. While A vasica & D stramonium were less effective as compared to A indica & ineffective against Rhizopus fungi. According to Ezeonu CS (2018): The same medium was used for subculturing until pure fungal isolates were obtained.
  3. Cancer : Plant part used: Sheet. Mentioned synergistic association: Cisplatine.
According to Bieberich E (2006): Taken together, our results indicate for the first time that a neem product is quite effective in inhibiting the growth of breast cancer cells in culture as well as in vivo, and suggest that the product could well be applied in human breast cancer chemoprevention and/or to combat tumor burden. Given the historical importance of neem in human heath, we tested in vitro the effect of neem-seed oil on the growth of one mouse (RIII/Sa-MT) and one human (MCF-7) breast cancer cell line. According to Author (2014): In our study, we have carried out an effort towards checking the effect of Neem extracts towards restoring the expression of tumor suppressor gene, E-cadherin (CDH1) via Snail & histone deacetylases (HDACs) in breast cancer cells MDA MB 231.Histone acetylation erasers, HDACs are the epigenetic manipulators playing a crucial role in silencing of tumor suppressor genes concerned with cancer initiation & progression.

Further indications (including other extraction modes where applicable), dosages, precautions for use and full scientific references are available in the complete monograph.
