1. Skin conditions : Plant part used: Fruit.
   According to Stander S (2001): Prurigo nodularis is an eruption of lichenified or excoriated nodules caused by intractable pruritus that is difficult to treat. In addition, capsaicin largely contributed to the gradual healing of the skin lesions. According to Basharat S (2020): Capsaicinoids are believed to have strong pharmacological properties that could be used in pain relief, weight reduction, cardiovascular conditions, & cancer prevention besides providing relief in gastrointestinal diseases.
2. Cancer : Plant part used: Fruit. Documented pharmacological profile: Cisplatine-like.
   According to Maksimova V (2016): The aim of this study was to investigate the effect of capsaicin & ethanolic Capsicum extracts on B104 neuroblastoma cells as a potential anticancer agent. According to GU J (2008): Antioxidant & antiproliferative activity of Pepper (Capsicum annuum L.) leaves.
3. Fungal infection : Plant part used: Fruit. Documented pharmacological profile: Nystatine-like.
   According to Erturk O (2011): In addition, their possible toxicity to Candida albicans & Aspergillus niger was determined, using both agar dilution & disc-diffusion methods. niger than the standard antifungal nystatin.
