1. Cancer : Plant part used: Sheet. Documented pharmacological profile: Fluoro-Uracile-like.
   According to Author (2009): elatior on human breast (MCF-7), Tlymphoblastoid (CEM-SS) & glandular cervix (HeLa) cancer cells. Plants belong to Zingiberaceae family are well known for antiproliferative effects on various cancer cells. According to Herni K (2021): This study aims to isolate cytotoxic compounds against HeLa cervical cancer cell lines from an ethanol extract of the E.
2. Inflammatory condition : Plant part used: Rhizome. Documented pharmacological profile: Indometacine-like.
   According to Srey C (2014): It is likely that the presence of terpenoid aglycones in F1 & F2-fractions could possess anti-inflammatory activity of E. EE andnon-polarfractions (F1 and F2), showed the potency in anti-inflammatory activity equal to standard indomethacin with IC50 19.35, 17.79, 21.12 & 19.81μg/mL, respectively. According to JUVITA T (2020): Materials & methods: To investigate the anti-inflammatory activity of the E.E flower extract on gastric ulceration-induced Wistar rats.
3. Acne : Plant part used: Flower. Documented pharmacological profile: Clindamycine-like, Oxacilline-like.
   According to Saldah N (2019): Acne is a common skin disorder & is generally caused by Propionibacterium acnes & Staphylococcus aureus. The ethanolic flower extract had the highest antibacterial properties against S. According to Osadee Wijekoon MMJ (2013): subtilis, Staphylococcus aureus, Listeria monocytogenes).
