Selon Davendran A (2020) : It act as a cure for various ailments like hepatic disorder, cancer, microbial infection, inflammatory etc. Pharmacological studies of this plant show that, it possesses antioxidant, antibacterial, gastro protective, hepato protective, anti-diarrhoeal, anti-nociceptive, anti-mutagenic & chemo preventive effects. Selon Okhale SE (2018) : This study aimed to investigate the chemical constituents & antimicrobial activity of the leaf Essential Oil (EO) of IC grown in Nigeria. - Oxidative stress : Plant part used: Sheet. Selon Aboudouiatif D (2013) : Oxidative stress, specifically lipid peroxidation, contributes to the pathogenesis of asthma. These facts led us to examine their antioxidant activities. Selon Bala NN (2011) : Among all the three extracts, methanolic extract have shown better scavenging & antioxidant property compared to other extracts in all the assay methods evaluated thereby leading it into the modern system of medicine in future. - Anxiety, insomnia, nervousness : Plant part used: Whole plant. Selon Shan P Mohammed (2014) : The objective of this study was to evaluate the anxiolytic activity of Ixora coccinea ethanolic extract. The ethanolic extract ICEE shows a significant (P<0.01) anxiolytic effect during the elevated plus maze test & the hole board test in a dose dependent manner when compared with the standard dose of diazepam.
