- Bacterial and fungal infections : Plant part used: Sheet. Documented pharmacological profile: Streptomycine-like.
Selon Sharma R (2012) : In respect to the antibacterial activities, EO showed the high degree of sensitivity against Micrococcus luteus, Escherichia coli, Staphylococcus aureus & Bacillus cereus except Pseudomonas aeruginosa while extracts of leaves obtained through petroleum ether, benzene, methanol & water exhibited good to moderate antimicrobial activity against all tested bacterial strains. Conclusions :The present study suggested that M. luteus showed best zone of inhibition for the EO as well as aqueous extract among all the tested bacterial strains. Selon Auteur (s.d.) : Microbial strains: Escherichia coli, Bacillus subtilis, Staphylococcus aureus, Pasteurella multocida, & Burkholderia gladioli pv gladioli & Aspergillus niger, Aspergillus flavus, Penicillium notatum, Helmenthosporium solani, & Fusarium solani. - Pain, hyperalgesia : Plant part used: Flower. Documented pharmacological profile: Diclofénac-like.
Selon Ifora I (2022) : In this study, the ethanolic extract of Lantana camara (EELc) was examined for its antinociceptive activity at doses of 140, 280, & 560 mg/kg body weight. These findings imply that LC leaf extracts have promising antinociceptive properties. Selon Punasiya R (2017) : The flower of the plant Lantana camara were extracted with ethanolic solvents & screened for their analgesic activity. - Cancer : Plant part used: Sheet. Documented pharmacological profile: Doxorubicine-like.
Selon Dawood AS (2021) : The activities of caspases -3/7 & -9 were found to increase in a dose dependent manner. The inhibitory action of LA followed the intrinsic pathway of mitochondria dependent mechanism. Selon Pal A (2023) : The present study investigated the effect of ethanolic extract of LC leaves on the triple negative breast cancer cell line, MDA-MB-231.
Further indications (including other extraction modes where applicable), dosages, precautions for use and full scientific references are available in the complete monograph.
