- Osteoarthritis, arthritis, rheumatism, oedema : Plant part used: Aerial parts. Documented pharmacological profile: Phénylbutazone-like.
Selon Pandey P (2021) : Prepared hydrogel was characterized for optimization & screened for anti-inflammatory activity using Xylene induced ear edema & Croton oil-induced ear edema in mice. Aim of the present study was to investigate preliminary evaluation of hydrogel formulation of methanol fraction of Martynia annua for anti-inflammatory activity using different types of animal models. Selon Chatpalliwar VA (2002) : The present work relates the anti-inflammatory activity of the plant Martynia diandra Glox. - Pain, hyperalgesia : Plant part used: Aerial parts.
Selon Auteur (2013) : This weed has been known to possess anthelmintic, analgesic, antipyretic, antibacterial, anti-convulsant, antifertility, antinociceptive, antioxidant, CNS depressant & wound healing activity. Selon Chatpalliwar VA (2003) : The antinociceptive activity of the partially purified ethanolic extract (50, 100 or 200 mg/kg, p.o) of the aerial parts of M. Pain response was observed as paw licking from 0 to 40 minutes after the challenge. - Infected wound, injury, incision : Plant part used: Sheet. Documented pharmacological profile: Povidone iodée-like. Mentioned synergistic association: Tephrosia purpurea –partes aériennes.
Selon Lodhi Santram (2011) : Methods: Ethanol extract of MA leaves were fractionated into three different fractions (MAF-A, MAF-B & MAF-C) which were screened for wound healing potential using two models: excision & incision on rats. Wound contraction, biochemical parameters (protein level and hydroxyproline level) & histopathological study were performed in excision wound model whereas incision model was used for determination of tensile strength. Selon Lodhi Santram (2016) : This study aimed to evaluate the potential wound healing effects of different fractions of ethanol extract of M.
Further indications (including other extraction modes where applicable), dosages, precautions for use and full scientific references are available in the complete monograph.
