Selon Farid O (2018) : Methods: In this work, the effect of Mentha spicata aerial part aqueous extract (A.P.A.E) at a dose of 20 mg/kg body weight on blood glucose levels has been demonstrated in normal & streptozotocin (STZ) diabetic rats.
  2. Cancer : Plant part used: Sheet. Documented pharmacological profile: Doxorubicine-like.
Selon Arumugam P (s.d.) : Cytotoxic effect on human prostate cancer cell line (PC-3) was assessed by MTT assay. Selon Shireen F (2022) : MI- & MS-based AgNPs displayed moderate activity against PC-3 (prostate cancer cell line).
  3. Mycobacterium found in livestock : Plant part used: Pest control & veterinary use. Documented pharmacological profile: Isoniazide-like.
