Selon Ramadan G (2013) : The present study showed (probably for the first time) that both MLP and MLE (especially the high dose) significantly alleviated (P < 0.05-0.001) erythrocytosis, agranulocytosis, thrombocytosis, shortened clotting time, the increase in relative heart weight, myocardial oxidative stress & the leakage of heart enzymes (creatine phosphokinase (CPK), CPK-MB isoenzyme, lactate dehydrogenase & aminotransferase) in ISO-treated rats through reactivating non-enzymic (reduced glutathione) and enzymic (catalase, glutathione peroxidase, glutathione S-transferase, superoxide dismutase) antioxidant defence system & inhibiting the production of nitric oxide & lipid peroxidation in heart tissues. Selon Moghaddam M G (2013) : Moghaddam M G et al, The Effects of Origanum Majorana on Oxidative Stress & Histopathology of Renal Tissue among Streptozotocin-Induced Diabetic Rats, Thrita. - Cancer : Plant part used: Sheet.
Selon Al Dhaheri Y (2013) : In the present study, we investigated the effect of Origanum majorana ethanolic extract on the survival of the highly proliferative & invasive triple-negative p53 mutant breast cancer cell line MDA-MB-231. majorana may be a promising chemopreventive & therapeutic candidate against cancer especially for highly invasive triple negative p53 mutant breast cancer; thus, validating its complementary & alternative medicinal use,.
