  1. Cancer : Plant part used: Flower. Documented pharmacological profile: 5-FU-Fluoro-Uracile-like.
Selon Huang SKH (2023) : These metabolites inhibited key proteins of DU-145 prostate cancer using molecular docking with rutin owning the highest binding affinity with PIKR31 & AR. This study evaluated the antioxidant, anti-inflammatory & cytotoxic effects of OF-F extracts on prostate cancer cells (DU-145) & determined possible protein-ligand interactions of its compounds in silico. Selon Fu CC (2022) : It was found that the pharmacological activities of these secondary metabolites mainly include antioxidant, anticancer, anti-inflammatory & antibacterial activities & that these metabolites can be used to treat many human diseases, such as cancer, skin diseases, cardiovascular diseases, & neurological diseases.
  2. Depression : Plant part used: Flower. Documented pharmacological profile: Duloxétine-like, Yohimbine-like.
Selon LUO LY (2024) : It is crucial to explore the impact of dietary interventions on depression & develop functional antidepressant foods, due to the significant side effects & poor treatment compliance of antidepressant drugs. Here, we evaluated the antidepressant effects of the ethanolic extract of O.
  3. Allergy : Plant part used: Flower.
Selon Hung CY (2013) : Thus, our findings confirm the ability of the OF flowers to reduce phlegm & suggest that OFE may be useful as an antiallergic agent.

Further indications (including other extraction modes where applicable), dosages, precautions for use and full scientific references are available in the complete monograph.
