Selon LE Bettio (2011) : Pretreatment of mice with yohimbine (1 mg/kg, i.p., α₂-adrenoceptor antagonist), propranolol (1 mg/kg, i.p., β-adrenoceptor antagonist), SCH23390 (0.05 mg/kg, S.C., dopamine D₁ receptor antagonist) or Sulpiride (50 mg/kg, i.p., dopamine D₂ receptor antagonist) prevented the antidepressant-like effect of the extract in FST (30 mg/kg). The antidepressant-like effect of the hydroalcoholic extract from P. - Pain, oedema : Plant part used: Sheet.
Selon NOGUEIRA FLP (2005) : The ethanolic extracts obtained from Wild and micropropagated plants produced Analgesic effects against thermal and chemical induced pain. (Polyggalaceae), which is a herbaceous plant widely distributed all over Brazil, were tested for their Analgesic effects using hot plate, tail flick and formalin test models, and for their antiedematogenic effects using croton oil induced ear oedema. Selon Johann S (2011) : tropicalis (250 μg/mL) and S. paniculata showed antifungal activity against C.
