Note: scientific reference excerpts are kept in their original language (most often English), without translation, to respect the source text of publications.

  1. Bacterial infection : Plant part used: Sheet. Documented pharmacological profile: Ciprofloxacine-like.
Selon Kulshreshtha M (2018) : Many microbial species such as Staphylococcus aureus, Bacillus subtilis, Escherichia coli, Pseudomonas aeruginosa, Aspergillus tubingensis etc are responsible for PU directly or indirectly. E coli was found to be the least affected microbial species. Selon Auteur (2005) : subtilis, Escherichia coli, Pseudomonas aeruginosa, Salmonella typhi, Salmonella paratyphi, Shigella dysenteriae, S.
  2. Fungal infection : Plant part used: Sheet. Documented pharmacological profile: Ketoconazole-like.
Selon Kulshreshtha M (2018) : Many microbial species such as Staphylococcus aureus, Bacillus subtilis, Escherichia coli, Pseudomonas aeruginosa, Aspergillus tubingensis etc are responsible for PU directly or indirectly. Disc diffusion & solid dilution methods were used for the determination of antimicrobial effects & MIC. Selon Auteur (2005) : Among the thirty plants, only eight (ethanolic extract) were showed considerable antibacterial & antifungal activity.
  3. Oxidative stress : Plant part used: Sheet. Documented pharmacological profile: Acide ascorbique-like.
Selon Pal P (2019) : They exhibited strong antioxidant radical scavenging activity values for ethanolic extract of leaves. In this study antioxidant & anti-inflammatory effect of ethanolic extract of Quisqualis indica leaves was evaluated. Selon Singh S (2017) : Various oxidative stress parameters also restored to normal level in the treated groups.

Further indications (including other extraction modes where applicable), dosages, precautions for use and full scientific references are available in the complete monograph.
