  1. Bacterial infection : Plant part used: Sheet. Documented pharmacological profile: Streptomycine-like.
Selon Yeddes W (2022) : The antibacterial activity of RO essential oil & ethanol extract was determined against Escherichia coli, Staphylococcus aureus, Pseudomonas aeruginosa, Campylobacter jejuni, Salmonella enterica, Bacillus subtilis & Enterococcus faecalis. The purpose of this study was to determine the chemical composition & antibacterial potential of rosemary essential oil & ethanol extract to improve its physicochemical & antibacterial properties. Selon Auteur (2017) : Monomicrobial biofilms of Candida albicans, Staphylococcus aureus, Enterococcus faecalis, Streptococcus mutans & Pseudomonas aeruginosa & polymicrobial biofilms composed of C.
  2. Cancer : Plant part used: Aerial parts. Documented pharmacological profile: Doxorubicine-like.
Selon Sharmila R (2012) : Skin squamous cell carcinoma was induced at the shaved back of mice by applying DMBA (20 microg in 0.1 mL acetone) twice weekly for 8 weeks. Tumor formation (100%) was observed within 15 weeks of treatment in DMBA alone. Selon Anusuya C (2011) : We noticed 100% tumor formation in hamsters treated with DMBA alone, & the tumors were histopathologically confirmed as well-differentiated squamous cell carcinoma.
  3. Bacterial infection : Plant part used: Sheet. Documented pharmacological profile: Acide fusidique-like.
Selon Karthik-Kumar V (2012) : Moreover RA supplementation prevented the alterations in circulatory antioxidant enzymes and colonic bacterial enzymes activities. The purpose of this study is to investigate the possible chemopreventive mechanism of action of RA against 1,2-dimethylhydrazine (DMH) induced rat colon carcinogenesis by evaluating the circulatory antioxidant status and colonic bacterial enzymes activities. Selon Barni MV (2009) : In this paper we examined the antibacterial efficacy of an ethanolic extract of Rosmarinus officinalis L.

Further indications (including other extraction modes where applicable), dosages, precautions for use and full scientific references are available in the complete monograph.
