  1. Bacterial infection : Plant part used: Sheet. Documented pharmacological profile: Amoxicilline-like.
Selon BRITO SA (2018) : Anti-Helicobacter pylori activity was assessed by determining the MIC of the SmEE (64-1024 μg/mL). Selon ALVES-BRITO S (2018) : Anti- Helicobacter pylori activity was assessed by determining the MIC of the SmEE (64–1024 μ g/mL).
  2. Complications during labour : Plant part used: Sheet. Documented pharmacological profile: Ocytocine-like.
Selon Igwe CU (2011) : The in vitro effects of the extracts & oxytocin drug were also studied on gravid & non-gravid uterine muscles of 12 Wister albino rats. Selon Uchendu C (2005) : Results: The extract contracted the uterine muscle concentration-dependently (EC50, 0.08 mg/ml). The butanolic extract was tested for spasmogenicity on isolated uterine muscle strips of the rat using conventional methods.
  3. Type II diabetes mellitus : Plant part used: Stem bark. Documented pharmacological profile: Chlopropamide-like.
Selon Iweala E (2011) : The aim of this study was to evaluate the individual and synergistic hypoglycaemic and biochemical effects of the ethanolic extracts of seeds of Parinari Polyandra & Spondias mombin in alloxan-induced diabetic rats. The ethanolic extracts of the seeds of P Polyandra & S mombin were obtained by Soxhlet extraction and administered to nondiabetic & alloxan-induced diabetic albino rats. Selon Gobinath R (2022) : Gobinath R et al, Antidiabetic & antihyperlipidemic effects of methanolic extract of leaves of Spondias mombin in streptozotocin-induced diabetic rats.

Further indications (including other extraction modes where applicable), dosages, precautions for use and full scientific references are available in the complete monograph.
