Selon Haque A (2012) : Haque A et al, Antiinflammatory & Insecticidal activities of Synedrella nodiflora, Molecular & Clin Pharm, 2012, 2(2), 60-7- Abstract Methanolic extract of the leaves of Synedrella nodiflora (Asteraceae) has been evaluated for its insecticidal & anti-inflammatory potential against the insect Sitophilus oryzae using surface film method & carrageenan & formalin induced paw edema in rat, respectively. wt, which is almost similar to that of the standard drug used as anti-inflammatory agent, indomethacin.
2. Pain, generalised hyperalgesia : Plant part used: Whole plant. Documented pharmacological profile: Diclofenac-like, Morphine-like.
   Selon Woode E (2009) : J of Pharm &Toxicol, 4: 17-29, 2009-This study presents the effect of an ethanolic extract of the whole plant of Synedrella nodiflora, a plant used in Ghana for the treatment of epilepsy & pain, in formalin-induced pain & acetic acid-induced writhing assay and the possible mode(s) of action of its analgesic action. For comparison, morphine & diclofenac were used as standard Opioid & NSAID respectively. Selon Amoateng P (2017) : The hydroethanolic extract of the whole plant has demonstrated antinociceptive effect in various animal models of pain.
3. Pain, neuropathic-type hyperalgesia : Plant part used: Whole plant. Documented pharmacological profile: Pregabaline-like.
   Selon Amoateng P (2017) : The hydroethanolic extract of the whole plant has demonstrated antinociceptive effect in various animal models of pain. This study investigated the potential benefit of the hydroethanolic extract in a rat model of paclitaxel-induced neuropathic pain. Selon Amoateng P (2015) : The hydro-ethanolic extract of Synedrella nodiflora (L.) Gaertn whole plant has demonstrated analgesic effects in acute pain models.
