   Selon Hossain H (2011) : At the dose of 400 mg/kg body weight, the extract showed a significant anti-inflammatory activity in the carrageenan-induced oedema test in rats showing 65.90% reduction in the paw volume (P<0.01) comparable to that produced by the standard drug indomethacin (66.66%) after 24h. The ethanolic crude extract of the root of Acrostichum aureum was evaluated for its anti-inflammatory activity. Selon Wu X (2018) : Taken together, WEAC exerted potential therapeutic efficacy for gastric ulceration, & this may be involved in the suppression of oxidative stress & inflammatory response.

   Selon Kalpana Devi R (2015) : Actinopteris radiata, Acrostichum aureum & Hemionitis arifolia are ferns having medicinal value & are the first report on phytochemical analysis for anthelmintic property & confirmation with in-vitro & in-vivo clinical trials in naturally infected sheep’s against Haemonchus contortus. In-vivo trials following Egg Per Gram count using Faecal Egg Count Reduction Test on day 0 (pre-treatment) and on day 5, 7, 9 (post-treatment) with these 3 ethanolic fern extracts revealed A radiata had better efficacy (84%) than Acrostichum aureum (56%) & Hemionitis arifolia (49%).
