   Selon Vale VV (2011) : The results showed that the extract of fresh avelós presented antimicrobial activity on the growth of the pathogenic bacteria Salmonella typhi, Citrobacter freundii, Vibrio parahaemolyticus, Serratia odorifera, Pseudomonas aeruginosa and Staphylococcus aureus, with the formation of inhibition zones ranging from 9,0 to 20,0 mm in diameter. On the other hand, survival was higher in the ETHE group, as well as the number of bone marrow cells.
