1. Arthrose, arthrite, rhumatisme, oedème : Partie usitée : Mucus. Profil pharmacologique documenté : Phénylbutazone-like.
   Selon Auteur (2021) : The slime was extracted by low heat method & anti-inflammatory properties was ascertained by inducing paw edema in day old chicks using carrageenan, the phytochemical screening was conducted to ascertain the level of phenols & flavonoids, while the antioxidant properties was determined by DPPH radical scavenging activity, using ascorbic acid as standard. This study is aimed at evaluating the anti-inflammatory & antioxidant properties of snail slime obtained from giant African land snail (Achatina fulica). Selon Wiya C (2020) : For acute inflammation, the ear edema assay was used to screen the slime extract.

   Selon WU Y (2020) : This is the first report applying the snail glycosaminoglycan to favor diabetic wound healing. The pharmacological experiments suggested that SGAG markedly accelerated the healing of full-thickness wounds in diabetic mice skin. Selon Song Y (2021) : The wound healing rate of the snail mucus group was higher than that of the control group (p < 0.0001).
