Experimental diabetes was induced with streptozotocin in Wistar rats.    Selon Akiyumi SS (2012) : In this study, the protective effects of ethanol extract of IA against liver damage were evaluated in thioacetamide (TAA)-induced chronic hepatotoxicity in rats. The results showed that the treatment of IA significantly lowered the TAA-induced serum levels of hepatic enzyme markers (ALP, ALT, AST, protein, albumin, bilirubin & prothrombin time). Selon Dewanjee S (2017) : Substantial quantities of phyto-antioxidants in AEIA may mediate its beneficial function against Dox-induced liver injury.
