Selon Conde-Hernandez LA (2014) : The fresh pepper leaf extract, obtained using ultrasound as the extraction method contained the highest amount of antioxidant activity. Total phenolic compounds and antioxidant activity were evaluated with the phenol Folin Ciocalteu reagent and the ABTS method, respectively.

   Selon Kato da Silva B (2021) : The aim of this study was to evaluate the Porophyllum ruderale effects on the liver in murine melanoma model B16-F10 & to determine the antioxidant potential. Although a significant antioxidant activity was verified for the two concentrations analyzed, they were not sufficient to minimize the melanoma effects toxic in the mice liver as observed by histological changes & that leads us to conclude that the hydroalcoholic extract of aerial parts of PR, in the concentrations used, possesses antioxidant properties, good performance in inhibiting the proliferation of human melanoma cells, but it has no hepatoprotective effect in the melanoma cutaneous treatment,.

   Selon Vasquez-Atanacio MJ (2021) : These studies were carried on the extracts & isolated com- pounds and support most of their reported uses in folk medicine as antifungal, antileishmanial, anti-inflammatory, anti-nociceptive & burn repair activities, & as a potential source of new class of insecticides.
