1. Contraction musculaire, spasme : Partie usitée : Feuille. Profil pharmacologique documenté : Diazépam-like.
   Selon Ranjan P (2015) : Both the analgesic & muscle relaxant activity of the ethanolic extract of AL leaves at doses levels of 50, 100, 150, 200 & 250 mg/kg p.o. The objective of the present study is to investigate the analgesic & muscle relaxant activities of ethanolic extract of leaves of Antigonon leptopus (EEAL) in Albino rat by different pharmacological techniques.
2. Stress oxydatif : Partie usitée : Feuille. Profil pharmacologique documenté : Propylgalate-like.
   Selon Elhaj AM (2015) : The ethanol extract of AL (leaves) was screened for detect their free radical scavenging properties using 2.2Di (4-tert-octylphenyl)-1-picryl-hydrazyl (DPPH), while propyl galate was used as a standard antioxidant & screened for their cytotoxicity using 3-(4, 5-dimethyl thiazol-2-yl)-2, 5-diphenyl tetrazolium bromide (MTT). The tested antioxidant activity gave (89 ± 0.04 RSA%) in comparison to the control of propylgalate levels (72 ± 0.01RSA%), Primary phytochemical screening on leaves of AL appeared the rich of alkaloids, saponins, tannins, unsaturated sterol and/or triterpenes, flavonoids, glycosides & coumarins. Selon Kavatagimath SA (2020) : Ethanolic extract of AL flower was screened for antioxidant activity by DPPH method & its effects on blood glucose levels (OGTT, acute & sub-acute study) in Alloxan induced diabetic rats, effects on serum lipid profiles & histopathological study of pancreas.
3. Infection bactérienne : Partie usitée : Fleur. Profil pharmacologique documenté : Streptomycine-like.
   Selon Battu G (2009) : The extracts showed significant antibacterial & antifungal activity against all the microorganisms tested & the effect so produced was compared with the standard drugs penicillin & nystatin. AL investigated for its preliminary phytochemical & antimicrobial activity. Selon Govindasamy B (2014) : Antibacterial activity was evaluated against fish & clinical pathogens.
