According to Cai H (2013): In this study, we investigate the immuno-modulating effect & antitumor activity of Alocasia Cucullata (AC), a Chinese herb traditionally used to treat infection & cancer. We found that the whole water extract of AC roots could significantly attenuate tumor growth in mouse tumor models. According to Author (n.d.): Adopt one or more techniques in the techniques such as solvent extraction method, solvent extraction, resin adsorption method, normal phase column chromatography method, reversed-phase column chromatography, gel chromatography, & be prepared into AC extract in conjunction with conventional drying method such as concentrate drying, lyophilization, spraying dry, the AC extract made is applied in treatment of cancer as anticancer active constituent.
