  1. Bacterial infection : Plant part used: Sheet. Documented pharmacological profile: Mupirocine-like.
According to AL-Maharik N (2024): The EOs exhibited bactericidal properties, particularly against Staphylococcus aureus, Methicillin-Resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA), & showed highly effective fungicidal activity. The minimum inhibitory concentration (MIC) of EOs was assessed against six bacterial strains & one fungal species using 96-well microtiter plates. According to JARADAT N (2021): Interestingly, both EOs inhibited more potential activity against Methicillin-Resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA) & Proteus vulgaris than Ciprofloxacin & Ampicillin antibiotics and also showed more potent antifungal activity against Candida albicans than Fluconazole.
  2. Recurrent myocardial infarction, hypertension, exertional angina, panic attack : Plant part used: Sheet. Documented pharmacological profile: Propanolol-like.
  3. Anxiety, nervousness, insomnia : Plant part used: Sheet. Documented pharmacological profile: Diazépam-like.
