  1. Cancer : Plant part used: Sheet. Documented pharmacological profile: Campothécine like.
    According to MEHTA SD (2017): Traditionally, Annona Squamosa Linn has been used for treatment of cancer, diabetes, microbial infection, cardiac disease, jaundice and other liver related disorder. Aim of the study: The main objective of study is to evaluate hepatoprotective activity of the hydroalcoholic extract of seeds of AS using the carbon tetrachloride induced liver toxicity in rats. According to Chen Y (2012): These compounds all exhibited significant cytotoxic activity in vitro against five human tumor cell lines.
  2. Arthritis, osteoarthritis, rheumatism, oedema : Plant part used: Root. Documented pharmacological profile: Diclofenac-like.
    According to Hemalatha K (2009): An attempt was made to prepare the alcoholic & aqueous extracts of root of Annona squamosa were subjected for chemical analysis & anti-inflammatory (carrageenan induced rat paw edema model method) activity. The results of anti-inflammatory studies at the doses 200 & 400 mg/kg b. According to SINGH DP (2012): The anti-inflammatory activity was evaluated by using Plethysmometer.
  3. Psoriasis : Plant part used: Sheet. Mentioned synergistic association: formulation traditionnelle avec Curcuma longa-rhizome.
    According to Kawjit Natapong (2014): (rhizome), Curcuma longa L. (rhizome) & Annona squamosa L. According to Saelee C (2011): Psoriasis is a chronic inflammatory skin disorder characterized by rapid proliferation of keratinocytes & incomplete keratinization.
