  1. Cancer : Plant part used: Sheet. Documented pharmacological profile: 5-Fluoro-Uracile-like, Fluoro-Uracile-like.
    According to Arul B (2004): (ECP) has been evaluated against Dalton's ascitic Lymphoma (DAL) in Swiss albino mice. The antitumor activity of the ethanolic extract of Calotropis procera R. According to BHAGAT M (2010): Results revealed that the extracts of the plant possessed in vitro anticancer potential against HCT-15 (colon) cancer cell line at different concentrations.
  2. Osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, oedema, rheumatism : Plant part used: Root. Documented pharmacological profile: Dexaméthasone-like, Ibuprofene-like.
    According to Author (2022): procera possesses anti-inflammatory, antibacterial, antipyretic, antidiabetic, anticancer & antioxidant properties. procera, it has been used in traditional medicine as a purgative, antihelmintic as well as in the treatment of leucoderma, ulcer, rheumatoid arthritis & diseases of the spleen, liver & stomach. According to Parihar G (2011): The experimental paradigms used were Complete Freund’s Adjuvant (CFA) induced arthritis (chronic inflammation), acetic acid induced vascular permeability model in mice for anti-inflammatory activity.
  3. Osteoarthritis, arthritis, oedema, rheumatism : Plant part used: Sheet. Documented pharmacological profile: Indometacine-like.
    According to Parihar G (2011): The experimental paradigms used were Complete Freund’s Adjuvant (CFA) induced arthritis (chronic inflammation), acetic acid induced vascular permeability model in mice for anti-inflammatory activity. Thus, the present study revealed that the ethanol extract of C procera exhibited significant anti-inflammatory activity in the tested models. According to Singh H (2000): Inflammation induced by latex of Calotropis procera—a new model to evaluate anti-inflammatory drugs.
