According to Kabra MP (2012): Hypoglycemic effect was compared to that of Glibenclamide. In the long term treatment of alloxan induced diabetic rats, the degree of protection was determined by measuring blood glucose, triglycerides, cholesterol & protein on 15thday. According to Emojevwe V (2018): It was therefore concluded that CN husk tea has a significant hypoglycemic & anti-diabetic effects in alloxan-induced diabetes. - Rheumatism, osteoarthritis, arthritis, oedema : Plant part used: Fruit. According to Dua K (2013): Dua K et al, Antiinflammatory, antibacterial and analgesic potential of Cocos nucifera L: A review. According to Zakaria ZA (2006): nucifera as antipyretic, anti-inflammatory & wound healing agents. The extracts, in the concentrations/strengths of 10, 50 & 100%, were used in anti-pyretic & anti-inflammatory studies while those in the concentration of 100% were used only in the wound healing study. - Anxiety, nervousness, insomnia, depression : Plant part used: Root.
