According to NEAMAH GAK (2023): Results: Showed significantly (p ≥ 0.001) elevated malondialdehyde levels in the GII group (6.19 ± 0.4), while GIII & GIV showed no significant differences. According to Almohaimeed HM (2021): The CP extract alleviated CUMS-induced adrenal histopathological changes & significantly reduced apoptosis (p < 0.001) & significantly upregulated antioxidant levels in the serum. Behavioral changes, corticosterone level, pro-inflammatory cytokines TNF-& IL-6, & oxidant/antioxidant profile were assessed in the serum at the end of the experiment. - Cancer : Plant part used: Sheet. Documented pharmacological profile: Taxus baccata-like, CISPLATINE-like.
According to Dakeng S (2012): Documented data demonstrate that cucurbitacins possess strong pharmacological properties, such as antitumor, anti-inflammatory, & hepatoprotective effects, etc. The aim was to systematically analyze their bioactivities with an emphasis on their anticancer effects. According to Makni M (2008): Hypolipidemic & hepatoprotective effects of flax & pumpkin seed mixture rich in ω-3 & ω-6 fatty acids in hypercholesterolemic rats. - Osteoarthritis, arthritis, rheumatism, oedema : Plant part used: Seed.
According to Dakeng S (2012): Documented data demonstrate that cucurbitacins possess strong pharmacological properties, such as antitumor, anti-inflammatory, & hepatoprotective effects, etc. According to Agrawal K (2022): Several studies describe the medicinal properties such as anti-diabetic, cardioprotective, anti- depressive, antioxidant, anti-carcinogenic, anti-inflammatory of Pumpkin seeds & seed oil.
