But its antibacterial properties are not yet evaluated. According to Kaushik P (2008): Various parts of Datura innoxia were examined for potential antibacterial activity by preparing their crude aqueous & organic extracts against Gram-negative bacteria (Escherichia coli & Salmonella typhi) & Gram-positive bacteria (Bacillus cereus, Bacillus subtilis & Staphylococcus aureus). - Oxidative stress : Plant part used: Sheet. Documented pharmacological profile: Acide ascorbique-like.
- Osteoarthritis, arthritis, rheumatism, oedema : Plant part used: Sheet.
According to Jaafar FR (2018): Jaafar FR et al, Anti-Inflammatory Impacts & Analgesic Activity of Aqueous Extract Datura inoxia Leaves against Induced Pain & Inflammation in Mice. According to WU JT (2022): Furthermore, all withanolides were assessed for their anti-inflammatory activity & results showed that 1 exhibited a fairly good suppression against nitric oxide generation in lipopolysaccharide-stimulated RAW 264.7 cells (IC50 = 10.33±1.53 μM).
