According to Patil V (2011): The ethanolic extract (EEFC-II) 600 mg/kg exhibited maximum anti-inflammatory effect, which is 75.90% in acute inflammation & in chronic study showed 71.66% reduction in granuloma weight. Anti-inflammatory activity was studied by carrageenan-induced rat paw edema and cotton pellet granuloma methods. According to Paramanya A (2023): Among medicinal plants, FC has been widely used since ancient times & possesses many health-promoting activities like antidiabetic, antioxidant, antiobesity, anti-inflammatory, etc.
