1. Type II diabetes mellitus : Plant part used: Sheet. Documented pharmacological profile: Metformine-like.
   According to RAMADAM S (2021): The purpose of this study was to investigate if methanolic extracts of Lepidium sativum seeds, Ficus carica, & Punica granatum leaves had any effect on blood sugar levels in normal & streptozotocin (STZ) diabetic rats, as well as to explore the most effective extract. granatum methanolic extracts, & diabetics treated with insulin. According to Paramanya A (2023): diabetes has become a major metabolic disorder in the last few decades.
2. Cancer : Plant part used: Sheet.
   According to Wang J (2008): Human glioblastoma, hepatocellular carcinoma, & normal liver cells were used for in vitro tests of FFL effects. The purpose of this study is to confirm anticancer activity of FFL against human cancer cells & to further elucidate its mechanism of activity. According to Mostapha K (n.d.): Liver cancer is one of the most frequent causes of cancer-related deaths worldwide.
3. Arthritis, osteoarthritis, rheumatism : Plant part used: Sheet. Documented pharmacological profile: Indometacine-like.
   According to Patil V (2011): The ethanolic extract (EEFC-II) 600 mg/kg exhibited maximum anti-inflammatory effect, which is 75.90% in acute inflammation & in chronic study showed 71.66% reduction in granuloma weight. Anti-inflammatory activity was studied by carrageenan-induced rat paw edema and cotton pellet granuloma methods. According to Paramanya A (2023): Among medicinal plants, FC has been widely used since ancient times & possesses many health-promoting activities like antidiabetic, antioxidant, antiobesity, anti-inflammatory, etc.
