  1. Cancer : Plant part used: Root. Mentioned synergistic association: la Cisplatine.
Selon Lee CK (2007) : The administration of the GG extract significantly inhibited tumor growth in BALB/C mice inoculated with CT-26 colon cancer cells. Therefore, the GG extract may be a candidate for an anticancer & chemopreventive agent. Selon Javanthi (2016) : The use of plant products with potent antioxidant and cytotoxic activity is upcoming Studies reveal that herbal product have increased efficacy as well as decreased side effects, with this in mind the present study was undertaken to assess the antitumor activity of extracts of Glycyrrhiza glabra (GG) against ehrlich ascites carcinoma in swiss albino mice.
  2. Dyslipidaemia : Plant part used: Root. Documented pharmacological profile: Fenofibrate-like.
Selon Markina YV (2022) : Cardiovascular diseases associated with atherosclerosis are the major cause of death in developed countries. Early prevention and treatment of atherosclerosis are considered to be an important aspect of the therapy of cardiovascular disease. Selon Asgary S (2007) : Hence GG extract can effectively prevent the progress of atherosclerosis.

Selon Bhandage A (2009) : Present work was done to investigate the antiinflammatory and antinociceptive activity of aqueous & ethanolic extracts of Glycyrrhiza glabra by using different pain models in swiss albino mice of either sex. in mice using various experimentally induced pain models like Acetic acid induced abdominal constrictions, Formalin induced hyperalgesia & Tail flick method. Selon Ahmad F (1993) : Results showed that four extracts were having highly significant analgesic activity at all the three doses tested.
