1. Cancer : Plant part used: Sheet. Documented pharmacological profile: Doxorubicine-like.
   Selon LUKMAN M (2014) : Gmelina arborea Roxb, Guazuma ulmifolia Lamk & Curculigo orchioides Gaerth, the three plants frequently used in South Sulawesi for the treatment of cancerous diseases, have been selected to examine their action in cervical epithelial carcinoma. These extracts were assessed using HeLa cell cancer (Human cervix cancer) & doxorubicin was used as the positive control. Selon Rohit S (s.d.) : Overall, AEGA has shown a substantial & significant anti-cancer activity in all the models.
2. Inflammatory conditions : Plant part used: Fruit. Documented pharmacological profile: Diclofénac-like.
   Selon Nayak BS (2017) : The anti-inflammatory activity of phytoconstituent was evaluated by Carrageenan-induced rat paw edema test method using Wistar rats as animal model. arborea & to explore the anti-inflammatory activity of isolated compound. Selon Nayak BS (2015) : The plant Gmelina arborea has been traditionally used in India for several medicinal purposes like anthelmintic, diuretic, anti-inflammatory, antibacterial & antidiabetic.
3. Fever : Plant part used: Bark. Documented pharmacological profile: Paracétamol-like.
