- Cancer : Plant part used: Sheet. Documented pharmacological profile: Doxorubicine-like.
Selon Bata A (2011) : Twenty four hours of last dose & eighteen hours of fasting, the mouse were sacrificed & antitumor effect of the all fractions were assessed by evaluating tumor volume, viable & nonviable tumor cell count, tumor weight, biochemical, enzymatic and hematological antioxidant parameters of EAC bearing host. It’s anticancer and antioxidant activity is already proved by our research groups; therefore we started to perform column chromatography of methanol extract over silica-gel. Selon Dhandayuthapani S (2019) : These results indicate that GG extract could potentially modulate the cancer marker enzymes & thus could elicit suppressive activity on tumour growth in AFB1-induced male albino rats. - Dyslipidaemia : Plant part used: Sheet. Documented pharmacological profile: Atorvastatine-like.
Selon Mallikarjuna G (2018) : Hyperlipidemia model was induced by administering dexamethasone (10mg/kg, b.wt.,s.c.) in rats with significant imbalance in the in serum lipid profiles such as TC, TG, VLDL-C, LDL-C, HDL-C levels along with increase in atherogenic index. The present study was aimed at investigating hypolipidemic activity of Cleome gynandra L. Selon SHAIK K (2013) : Other parameters such as serum cholesterol, triglycerides, HDL, LDL, VLDL levels were also estimated. - Bacterial infection : Plant part used: Sheet. Documented pharmacological profile: Amoxicilline-like.
Selon Borgio JF (2007) : Results: Bacterial cultures of Escherichia coli & Staphylococcus aureus were highly susceptible to the acetone extracts of all the five parts of G. Conclusion: The active antimicrobial ingredients in G. Selon Ajaiyeoba EO (2000) : Chev.) were screened phytochemically for the presence of secondary metabolites & for in vitro antibacterial & antifungal properties respectively.
