1. Bacterial infection : Plant part used: Stem. Documented pharmacological profile: Ofloxacine-like.
   Selon Asaib M (2013) : In the present study, the various extracts of the plant Holmskioldia sanguinea were studied for their antioxidant & antimicrobial activities. Selon Yadava RN (2019) : Antibacterial activity of compound 1 was evaluated against various Gram positive & Gram-negative bacteria showing a significant effect.
2. Liver disorders : Plant part used: Sheet. Documented pharmacological profile: Silymarine-like.
   Selon Pal M (2011) : The activity was evaluated by using some biochemical parameters such as serum glutamate pyruvate transaminase (SGPT), alkaline phosphates (ALP), serum glutamate oxaloacetate transaminase (SGOT) total bilirubin & gama glutamate transpeptidase (GGTP). The alcoholic extract showed significant hepatoprotective activity.
3. Cancer : Plant part used: Sheet.
   Selon Pal (s.d.) : Protective effect of Hs leaf ethanolic extract has been investigated against Ehrlich ascites carcinoma (EAC) & Dalton’s ascites lymphoma (DAL) in Swiss albino mice to evaluate the possible mechanism of action. The Hs is a new source of andrographolide & demonstrated the potency in treatment of cancer,. Selon Sati R (2021) : Herb's anti-tumor & anti-cancer properties have generated significant interest,.
