- Clastogenesis : Plant part used: Stem.
Selon Macia-Ceja D (2018) : The LCâMS analysis detected metabolites such as polyphenols & fatty acids.Systemic administration of the ethanolic extract of HP exerts an anti-inflammatory effect & prevents murine colitis induced by TNBS. - Oxidative stress : Plant part used: Fruit.
Selon Auteur (2014) : Its activity can be reduced by oxidative stress conditions. Stress condition for rats was achieved by five days fasting and swimming for 10 mins/day. Selon Yeh W (2020) : Hepatic lipid accumulation, oxidative stress, & inflammation are important factors in the progression of ALD. - Dyslipidaemia : Plant part used: Fruit. Documented pharmacological profile: Simvastatine-like. Mentioned synergistic association: Allium sativum-bulbe.
Selon Omidizadeh A (2014) : The results showed that fresh pitaya significantly (p < 0.05) attenuated the insulin resistance, hypertriglyceridemia & atherosclerotic changes induced by fructose supplement in rats. Thermally-treated pitaya at 105 °C for 60 min (containing a low antioxidant & soluble dietary fiber content) fed to rats had no significant effect on insulin resistance, dyslipidemia & atherogenesis. Selon Khalili MA (2009) : Khalili MA et al, Hypocholesterolemic effect of red pitaya (Hylocereus sp.), on hypercholesterolemia induced rats, Inter Food Res J, (16): 431-40.
