- Cancer : Plant part used: Sheet. Documented pharmacological profile: Actinomycine-like.
Selon Supratman U (2001) : These results strongly suggest that bufadienolides are potential cancer chemopreventive agents. daigremontiana x tubiflora (Crassulaceae) were examined for their inhibitory effects on Epstein-Barr virus early antigen (EBV-EA) activation in Raji cells induced by the tumor promoter, 12-O-tetradecanoylphorbol-13-acetate. Selon Stefanowicz-Hajduk J (2019) : Recent studies have shown anticancer activity of Kalanchoe plants. - Bacterial infection : Plant part used: Aerial parts. Documented pharmacological profile: Tétracycline-like.
Selon Sarkar R (2015) : blossfeldiana leaves (MEKB) was evaluated for antimicrobial properties including QS-controlled production of biofilm (including virulence factor, motility and lactone formation) in Pseudomonas aeruginosa. Key findings: Methanol extract of KD exhibited antimicrobial effect on clinical isolates, as well as standard reference strains. Selon Stefanowicz-Hajduk J (2020) : Kalanchoe blossfeldiana ethanol extract is a potential candidate for cancer & bacterial infection treatment. - Oxidative stress : Plant part used: Aerial parts. Documented pharmacological profile: Acide gallique-like.
Selon SHUJAAT S (2017) : The results of various antioxidant assays suggest that the butanol extract exhibits highest antioxidant potential as compared to other solvents (ethanol, dichlorométhane, hexane & water). In present study, different assays have been used to evaluate antioxidant potential of various extracts of K. Selon Kolodziejcyk -Czepas J (2016) : Studies on an experimental model of blood plasma under peroxynitrite-induced oxidative stress revealed that the plant preparation had moderate antioxidant properties.
Further indications (including other extraction modes where applicable), dosages, precautions for use and full scientific references are available in the complete monograph.
