- Arthritis, osteoarthritis, rheumatism : Plant part used: Aerial parts. Documented pharmacological profile: Indometacine-like.
Selon PEREZ S (2005) : Lippia dulcis hexane & ethanol extracts were tested for its anti-inflammatory activity in several animal models. Hexane extract showed to but the ethanol extract at doses of 400 mg/kg produced significant inhibition of carrageenan-induced paw oedema and reduced the ton pellet-induced granuloma, Moreover, the topical application of 0.5 mg/ear of this extract inhibited the edema induced with TPA an effect which is of less intensity than that produced by indomethacin at the same dose. Selon Perez S (2005) : ippia dulcis hexane & ethanol extracts were tested for its anti-inflammatory activity in several animal models. - Bacterial infection : Plant part used: Aerial parts.
Selon CACERES A (1993) : Extracts were obtained with three solvents of different polarity (n-hexane, acetone and alcohol) & the in vitro activity was demonstrated against Enteropathogenic Escherichia coli, Salmonella enteritidis & Shigella flexneri. The plants with antibacterial activity are discussed. Selon COMPADRE CM (1986) : Hernandulcin was nontoxic when administered orally to mice, & it did not induce bacterial mutation,. - Respiratory conditions : Plant part used: Aerial parts.
Selon Gornemann T (2008) : (Verbenaceae) that is traditionally used in the treatment of cough, colds, bronchitis, asthma, & colic in Middle America for antispasmodic activity.
