  1. Bacterial infection : Plant part used: Root. Documented pharmacological profile: Gentamycine-like.
Selon Ododo MM (2016) : The chloroform extract showed antibacterial activity against Staphylococcus aureus & Escherichia coli, whereas the ethanolic extract showed antibacterial activity against only S. Selon Abozed M (2018) : Antibiofilm effect was evaluated for Staphylococcus aureus, Klebsiella pneumonia & Escherichia coli using 96 wells technique.
  2. Type II insulin-resistant diabetes mellitus : Plant part used: Sheet. Documented pharmacological profile: Pioglitazone-like.
Selon Perez-Gutierrez RM (2017) : The results suggest that 1 has hypolipidemic & hypoglycemic, anti-inflammatory, activities, improve insulin resistance & hepatic enzymes in streptozotocin-induced diabetic mice. The hypolipidemic & hypoglycemic activities of 1 was analyzed in in streptozotocin (STZ)-nicotinamide-induced type 2 diabetes in mice (MD) & type 1 diabetes in streptozotocin-induced diabetic mice (SD). Selon Perez Gutierrez RM (2012) : As a result, we found that with the hexane extract the blood glucose level, serum biochemical parameters, hepatic enzymes, Thiobarbituric acid reactive substances, glycosylated hemoglobin, advanced glycation end products, & insulin level were restored in streptozotocin induced diabetic rats to nearly normal levels.
  3. Wound, incision, injury : Plant part used: Sheet. Documented pharmacological profile: Mebo-like.
Selon ANWAR MA (2025) : The wounds were treated with plant extracts (2.5% & 5%) as well as a commercially available wound healing product (Mebo-®) for 10 days. 3) Performing histopathological examination of the wound tissue.
