  1. Difficult labour : Plant part used: Sheet. Documented pharmacological profile: Ocytocine (Syntocinon)-like.
    Selon COFFE PN (2024) : A significant increase in uterine weight was observed in the 500 mg/kg treatment. Its effects on the post-coital contraceptive & hormonal activities were evaluated. Selon Azadi S (2023) : Topical drug delivery using nanoemulsions & nanogels is a promising approach to treating skin disorders such as melanoma.
  2. Termination of pregnancy : Plant part used: Aerial parts. Documented pharmacological profile: Mifépristone-like.
    Selon El-Gazar A (2022) : Administration of MP extract/fractions, for three days starting from day 15th of gestation, affected fetal development by disrupting the uterine & placental tissues, or even caused pregnancy termination. Aq.) by UPLC-ESI-MS-TOF, to unravel the constituent’s provoking abortion. Selon COFFE PN (2024) : Hormonal imbalances cause non-receptive conditions, leading to anti-implantation or abortion.
  3. Menopause, oestrogen deficiency : Plant part used: Sheet. Documented pharmacological profile: 17 bêta-oestradiol-like.
