  1. Hyperlipidaemia, hypercholesterolaemia, triglycerides : Plant part used: Sheet. Documented pharmacological profile: Simvastatine-like.
Selon Yulinah S (2016) : Hyperlipidemia was induced by giving rats a high fat diet along with cholesterol (200 mg/kg), cholic acid (0.2% of chow), and Propylthiouracil (10 mg/kg BW) for 30 days orally. Results: There were significant differences on a group of M200, B50+M100, & B100+M200 compared to the control group at T14, with the value 33.68%, 34.39 %, & 44.81% (in reduction of total cholesterol) & 36.86%, 37.16%, & 49.99% (in reduction of triglyceride). Selon Chen CC (2005) : Chen CC et al, Mulberry extract inhibits the development of atherosclerosis in cholesterol-fed rabbits.
  2. Bacterial infection : Plant part used: Sheet. Documented pharmacological profile: Gentamycine-like.
Selon Al-Dhanani A (2025) : Antimicrobial activities were assessed through the Disk Diffusion Method against selected bacterial strains (Staphylococcus aureus, Bacillus cereus, Escherichia coli, & Clostridium botulinum) & fungal strains (Aspergillus flavus, Candida albicans), with inhibition zones measured post-incubation. Therefore, the main objective of this study is to evaluate the mineral content, phytochemical analyses, antifungal & antibacterial properties (for leaves, branches, & roots) of the only mulberry species present in the United Arab Emirates (UAE); Morus nigra (native) & Morus alba (exotic), both of which can be found within the wild flora of Fujairah. Selon Fukai T (2005) : Fukai T et al, Antimicrobial activity of 2-arylbenzofurans from Morus species against methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus.
  3. Liver poisoning : Plant part used: Sheet. Documented pharmacological profile: Silymarine-like. Mentioned synergistic association: Méthotrexate.
Selon Mallhi TH (2014) : Mallhi TH et al, Hepatoprotective activity of aqueous methanolic extract of Morus nigra against paracetamol-induced hepatotoxicity in mice. Selon Gonzalez-Condori EG (2021) : Objective: Evaluate the hepatoprotective effect of Morus nigra hydroalcoholic extract on acetaminophen-induced liver damage in rats. Additionally, a histopathological study was conducted of liver sections.

Further indications (including other extraction modes where applicable), dosages, precautions for use and full scientific references are available in the complete monograph.
