  1. Infected wound, injury, skin condition : Plant part used: Sheet. Documented pharmacological profile: Mupirocine-like.
    Selon Nayak BS (2014) : Treatment was given for 13 days and the wound area was measured on alternate days. Standard and control group animals were treated with Mupirocine and petroleum Jelly, respectively.
  2. Osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, rheumatism : Plant part used: Sheet. Documented pharmacological profile: Parthenolide-like.
  3. Leishmaniasis : Plant part used: Pest control & veterinary. Documented pharmacological profile: Nifurtimox-like, Benznidazole-like.
    Selon Berger I (2001) : promastigotes, Trypanosoma cruzi trypomastigotes & epimastigote & Trichomonas vaginalis trophozoites. Selon Berger I (1998) : The activities of crude plant extracts of five plants popularly used in Guatemala against bacterial & protozoal infections & some of their fractions have been evaluated against the trypomastigote and epimastigote forms of Trypanosoma cruzi in vitro. cruzi as well in vitro as in vivo.
