Aim of the study: To assess the anti-breast cancer activity of the ethanolic extract of PE leaves in vitro & in vivo. Selon Aguillón-Osma (2013) : To investigate the antioxidant & antiproliferative activity of ethanolic & aqueous extracts from leaves & fruits of Passiflora edulis.

Selon Deng J (2010) : Anxiolytic & sedative activities of Passiflora edulis f. Selon PETRY RD (2001) : The anxiolytic activity of Hydroethanol extracts of P. The extracts presented anxiolytic activity in dosages around 50, 100 & 150 mg/kg.
  3. Viremia : Plant part used: Sheet. Mentioned synergistic association: Acyclovir.
Selon Jabareen A (2013) : In the present study we examined, in vitro, the antiviral potential of aqueous & ethanolic leaf extracts on herpes simplex viruses 1 & 2 (HSV-1, HSV-2) & on Varicella-Zoster virus (VZV). Most prominent antiviral activity was obtained when the 80%-MeOH fraction was added during the infection, or when it was incubated with the virus particles prior to infection. Selon Ripa F (2009) : The petroleum ether & chloroform fractions of ethanol extract of leaf & stem from the plant Passiflora edulis (Fam: Passifloraceae) was subjected to antioxidant, antibacterial & cytotoxic activity.
