Selon Verma S (2017) : Pearl millet’s high flavonoid content has incredible anti-inflammatory & anti-oxidant properties to reduce oxidative stress and inflammation, common pathologies of neurodegenerative diseases (NDs). Selon Olorunsanya AO (2011) : Olorunsanya AO et al, Effect of bamboo (Bambusa valgaris) & elephant grass (Pennisetum purpureum) leaf extracts on oxidative stability of cooked & raw broiler meat.
  3. Cancer : Plant part used: Sheet. Documented pharmacological profile: Docetaxel-like.
Selon Flora TM (2018) : The most cytotoxic extracts were then further tested on a panel of 8 human cancer cell lines, including various MDR phenotypes. They were further tested in 8 other cell lines as well as in normal AML12 hepatocytes.
