  1. Cancer : Plant part used: Fruit. Mentioned synergistic association: la Doxorubicine.
Selon Uen WC (2018) : The present study is designed to investigate the anti-oral cancer properties of Solanum nigrum on oral squamous cell carcinoma. These results suggested that AESN has potential to be used as a functional food in adjuvant chemotherapy for treating human oral cancer by suppression of mitochondrial function,. Selon Nawaz A (2022) : The results demonstrated that S.N fractions exhibited anticancer activity against hepatic & cervical cancer cell lines with non-toxic effect in normal cells.
  2. Osteoarthritis, arthritis, rheumatism, oedema : Plant part used: Fruit. Documented pharmacological profile: Diclofénac-like.
Selon Yeom YE (2019) : Herein, we analyzed the active constituents of SN extract, & evaluated the anti-inflammatory effect on an acute ear edema mouse model. Moreover, SN fruit extract in 80% ethanol on 12-O-tetra-decanoy-lphorbol 13-acetate (TPA)-induced acute ear edema mouse model showed less edema & greater suppression of inflammation than indomethacin, an inflammation inhibitor. Selon Zakaria ZA (2006) : The extract also produced significant (p<0.05) anti-inflammatory & antipyretic activities when assessed using the carrageenan-induced paw edema & brewer's yeast-induced pyrexia tests.
  3. Anxiety, nervousness : Plant part used: Fruit. Documented pharmacological profile: Diazépam-like.

Further indications (including other extraction modes where applicable), dosages, precautions for use and full scientific references are available in the complete monograph.
