1. Cancer : Partie usitée : Son. Profil pharmacologique documenté : Doxorubicine-like.
   Selon Duansak N (2022) : Rice bran has antioxidant & cardioprotective properties, and can act as a food supplement with potential health benefits, such as lowering blood pressure, hepatic steatosis, & inflammation. Male Institute of Cancer Research mice were fed with a high-fat diet (HFD) for 8 weeks & then supplemented with 220 & 1,100 mg/kg/d RBE while the low-fat diet group (control) were not. Selon Perez-Ternero C (2017) : Liver steatosis was reduced by RBEE supplementation of LFD (1% RBEE) and HFD (1 & 5% RBEE) & nuclear peroxisome proliferator-activated receptor-α expression upregulated in the HDF 5% RBEE group.

   Selon Ampawong S (2020) : The results showed that the rice extract reduced the severity of psoriasis by decreasing the epidermal thickness, acanthosis, hyperkeratosis, epidermal inflammation & degree of apoptosis induction via caspase-3, increasing the expression levels of anti-inflammatory cytokines (IL-10 & TGF-β), (3) reducing the levels of pro-inflammatory cytokines (IL-6, IL-8, IL-20, IL-22 & TNF-α), chemokines (CCL-20) & anti-microbial peptides (psoriasin & β-defensin), (4) enhancing the antioxidative property (Nrf-2), (5) downregulating the levels of psoriasis-associated genes (psoriasin, β-defensin, koebnerisin.15L & koebnerisin 15S) & (6) upregulating the levels of psoriasis-improving genes (caspase-14, involucrin & filaggrin). Psoriasis-related genes, cytokines & chemokines were examined; in addition, the antioxidative & anti-inflammatory properties & the immuno-histo-pathological features of this condition were studied.
