1. Cancer : Partie usitée : Semence. Association synergique mentionnée : Zizyphus mauritiana-semence.
   Selon NURUJJAMAN M (2024) : The anticancer activity of the lectin was examined using in vivo & in vitro functional assays. In vitro MTT assay showed that PgL inhibited Ehrlich ascites carcinoma (EAC) cell growth in a dose-dependent manner. Selon Wong TL (2021) : It discusses the chemical constituents of pomegranate, the results of both preclinical (in vitro, ex vivo & in vivo) & clinical studies on the anticancer effect of pomegranate phytochemicals & molecular targets in numerous types of cancers, such as breast, gastrointestinal tract (oral, colon, liver & pancreas), gynecological (uterine & ovarian), hematological (lymphoma, leukemia & myeloma), lung, neurological (glioma), urogenital (bladder & prostate), bioavailability, pharmacokinetics & safety of pomegranate constituents.
2. Virémie : Partie usitée : Feuille. Profil pharmacologique documenté : Acyclovir-like.
   Selon Angamuthu D (2019) : Human Herpes Virus-3 (Varicella Zoster Virus) causes Chickenpox in childhood & reactivates after decades from its latency to cause Herpes Zoster. The present study is an in vitro antiviral investigation on the leaves of Punica granatum against the clinical isolates of Human Herpes Virus-3 in comparison with acyclovir. 3. Douleur, hyperalgie : Partie usitée : Péricarpe de Fruit. Profil pharmacologique documenté : Aspirine-like, Tramadol-like.
   Selon Ben Saad L (2014) : Materials & Methods: Antinociceptive activity of ethanol pomegranate extract was examined using three models of pain: the writhing test, the hot tail flick test & the plantar test. Results: In the writhing test, the index of pain inhibition (IPI) was 37% for ethanolic extract of pomegranate (200mg/kg, p.o), & 59% for aspirin. Selon RAAFAT K (s.d.) : Conclusion: Pg extract, F1, F2, & GA could be considered as a new therapeutic potential for the amelioration of diabetic neuropathic pain & the observed in vivo antioxidant potential may be involved in its antinociceptive effect.
