   Selon Oliveira MBS (2020) : terebinthifolius as a protector of the placenta against Zika virus infection and as sunscreen agents. Thus, the potential of these natural extracts against ZIKV infection was evaluated, using an in vitro method.
2. Periodontite, carie, plaque dentaire : Partie usitée : Écorce. Profil pharmacologique documenté : Chloramphénicol-like, tetracycline-like.
   Selon Pereira EMR (2011) : This study evaluated the susceptibility of oral pathogenic microorganisms Candida albicans, Streptococcus mutans, Staphylococcus aureus, & Aggregatibacter actinomycetemcomitans to Brazilian medicinal plant extracts of Schinus terebenthifolius, Croton campestris, Lafoensia pacari (pacari), Centaurium erythraea, Stryphnodendron adstringens (barbatimão), & Anacardium humile, as compared to standardized antimicrobial agents (nystatin, chloramphenicol & tetracycline hydrochloride). Selon Uliana MP (2016) : All extracts showed strong antimicrobial activity against Staphylococcus aureus & Escherichia coli.
3. Cancer : Partie usitée : Feuille. Profil pharmacologique documenté : Cisplatine-like.
   Selon Bendaoud J (2010) : Essential oils were also evaluated for their anticancer activities against human breast cancer cells (MCF-7). Selon Bulla MK (2015) : Schinus terebinthifolius is a plant rich in phenolic compounds, which have antioxidant properties & can provide new opportunities for treatment & prevention of diseases mediated by ultraviolet radiation like photoaging & skin cancer.
