1. Cancer : Partie usitée : Rhizome. Profil pharmacologique documenté : Campothécine-like.
   Selon Bailly C (2020) : Recently, different studies have underlined the anticancer activities of CRD & in particular its capacity to inhibit the growth and to induce the death of glioblastoma & carcinoma cell lines in vitro. The anticancer properties of several labdane diterpenes have been well characterized, notably for andrographolide & sclareol. Selon Donipati P (2015) : The purpose of this study was to test in vitro anticancer activities of the hexane, chloroform & methanolic extracts of Hedychium coronarium against the human breast cancer cell lines [MCF-7].
2. Diabète mellitus de type II : Partie usitée : Feuille. Profil pharmacologique documenté : Glibenclamide-like, Metformine-like.
   Selon Rakesh Barik (2015) : Ethanolic extract (250 and 500 mg/kg body weight) was administered orally to streptozotocin induced type II diabetic male Wistar albino rats. Koenig (Zingiberaceae) in streptozotocin induced diabetic rats. Selon Pranitha K (2014) : Pranitha K et al, Hypoglycemic effect of ethanolic extract of Hedychium coronarium Linn rhizome in alloxan induced diabetes in rat model, Inter J Res Pharm & Pharmacol, 3 :3, 2014-Abstract To study the Hypoglycemic effect of ethanolic extract of Hedychium coronarium Linn., rhizome in Alloxan induced diabetes in rat model.
3. Trypanosomiase : Partie usitée : Huile essentielle. Association synergique mentionnée : Pentamidine (rhizome).
   Selon Rodrigues DF (2013) : Essential oils & major components were tested for trypanocidal activity using procyclic forms of Trypanosoma brucei (427 & 29-13 strains). brucei strains (CI50 = 65.77 μg·mL−1 & 24.53 μg·mL−1, resp.), & the synergism between caryophyllene oxide/plus Pentamidine (1: 1, v/v) highly increased the trypanocidal activity (<1.0 μg·mL−1).
